A southern phrase used when someone is caught belittling or talking down to someone. This phrase can also be used when someone gives you the wrong information when you are doing something correct originally.
Ex. 1 Why’re you using the wide side of the Allen. (Allen key or Allen wrench)
If you used the thin side of the Allen it would go by faster.

But if I use the thin side then it’ll take longer because I have less torque.
Just saying I’ve done it and that’s the fastest way. 1
The man switched to the thin side of an Allen key and tried to use it to finish the job he was working on faster. However having less torque it took much longer and this was the ending result.

Ex. 1 You said using the thin side would be faster!
It is, you just did it wrong.
No it wasn’t and I did it correct, you can’t use an Allen key wrong unless you’re pulling or something with it. You place the head in and turn or twist. You were talkin to me wise sided thinking I didn’t know better and it took twice as long. 1
