Tyson Effect

Named in the post-millenium era by Olympic High Jumper, John Winter, it refers to a human characteristic when the body confronts danger and freezes. In popular culture, it can often be said as "My life flashed before my eyes".
That giant puffball was rolling right toward the armored woman, but unfortunately she suffered from the Tyson Effect as another statistic of life and stock encountered.

Tyson Effect

Name after famed boxer Mike Tyson. When someone in their youth was careless, reckless, or lost in their ways, only to, later in life reflect and articulate, how misguided their intentions were and use the experience to affect positive change.
Nate Diaz seems to be experiencing, the Tyson Effect, as he looks back over his career with some regrets.

Mike Tyson Effect

When you see a very manly, built dude and expect him to have a super-deep burly man voice and he ends up sounding like a 10-year-old boy
That cop was like 6'5" 210 but when he asked me for my license and registration I had to try not to laugh cuz he sounded like he was 14. Posterchild for the Mike Tyson Effect

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.

Huge. Surpassing normal expectations.
I was fishing with a Spinner Bait and a HONKIN pike came after it and hit it . Felt like a lawnmower running over a brick.

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"
