The second decade of the 21st Century from 2010 to 2020 in between the Aughts (or The Aughties) & The Twenties. It's a portmanteau of the words tween, teen, and twenties.

Lady Gaga's career launched in the first decade of the new millennium, but will her popularity & influence on music prolong throughout the Tweenties?

Mid-Twenties Breakdown

A time of mental breakdown that occurs during a person's twenties, often a result of an inability to function outside of college/university or other types of structured environments. Feeling alone and/or useless also tends to be a symptom of the mid-twenties breakdown.

Soon after Paul finished grad school at age 24 he found that he couldn't get a job and had a mid-twenties breakdown and moved back to his parents' basement where he spent most of his days playing Xbox and smoking weed.

A group of gay Imagine Dragons fans who have no lives and constantly spend their time talking to each other on an app called Cubie (now known as Pal +). This cult was created on July 1st 2013 by Lexi (@perfectcows) and Sam (@thirty_lives). The group has expanded to 30 people and continues to grow. The Tenties have an annual convention called "Tenties take NYC" which started in 2014. Members of the Tentie cult live all over the world, including USA, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Ireland.

Tenties

An awesome way to refer to the decade that started in 2010 and ends in 2019. The one that we're in right now.

However, Damien Fletcher from mirror.co.uk said:

"The tenties have also been suggested but that just goes against the pattern of the decades because the ‘ties’ ending doesn’t start until 2020."
