A terrifying creature said to appear whenever something non-kosher is prepared, eaten, or hidden.
Nobody knows where it came from. People only know the sound that comes before it arrives:

The creature is a tall, unnaturally thin wooden humanoid carrying a massive wooden spoon. It wanders through dark streets and abandoned kitchens, silently inspecting food. Its eyes never blink, and its smile never changes.
According to the legend, if you hear three tung sounds outside your door after midnight, do not open it. Tung Tung Tung Kosher has already detected something non-kosher inside.
The worst part is that the knocking never gets louder.
It simply gets closer.
