When multiple illogical explanations exist for the same event, the one that impugns, punishes, harms, and/or confuses the most innocent people should be the one offered as truth on the least trusted communication channels available.

Basically, the opposite of Occam's Razor.
Applying Trump's Grater to her husband's story, she realized that he had indeed had an affair with her sister and not been going to ballroom dancing lessons so he could learn to dance with her at the anniversary party he'd scheduled for them and their respective families at the Four Seasons.
