Tokio Hotel is a German pop rock band, formed in Magdeburg, Germany. The members of the band consist of Bill Kaulitz, singer, Tom Kaulitz(twin brother to bill), electric guitar, Gustav Schäfer, drummer, and Georg Listing, the bassist. The band started out in 2001 and was originally known as Devilish, before taking on the name tokio hotel. There audiance consists of mostly girls.
Tokio because the city is crazy and exciting and hotel because they travel alot.

Tokio Hotel is a band hailing from Madgeburg, Germany. It consists of frontman Bill Kaulitz, Bill's twin brother and guitarist Tom Kaulitz, bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schäfer. Tokio Hotel first formed in 2001 under the band name "Devilish". Tokio Hotel released their first German language album "Schrei" in 2005. "Schrei" sold more than half a million copies worldwide and spawned four top five singles in Germany and Austria. In 2007 Tokio Hotel released the CDs "Zimmer 483" and "Scream", an English album, containing songs from both "Schrei" and "Zimmer 483", translated and recorded in English. Tokio Hotel has already taken Europe by storm, and now, they are ready to take on the USA. Their US single, "Ready, Set, Go!" has reached #1 on the TRL countdown. Their album, "Scream" was released on May 6, 2008 in the USA. They are all straight, no matter what you hear. Also, many people do think that they are also very attractive. Their music is amazing.

The term often used to describe the intensity of Tokio Hotel Fans. It's unknown where it originated. I used it a few times, and now many fans all over the internet seem to have picked it up.

Tokio Hotel ˈtoːkio hoˈtɛl is a German band founded in Magdeburg, Germany in 2001 by guitarist Tom Kaulitz, singer Bill Kaulitz, drummer Gustav Schäfer, and bassist Georg Listing. The quartet has scored four number one singles and has released two number one albums in their native Germany, selling nearly 5 million CDs and DVDs there. After recording an unreleased demo-CD under the name "Devilish" and having their contract with Sony BMG terminated, the band released their first German-language album, Schrei, as Tokio Hotel on Island Records in 2005. Schrei sold more than half a million copies worldwide and spawned four top five singles in both Germany and Austria. In 2007, the band released their second German album Zimmer 483 and their first English album Scream which have combined album sales of over one million copies worldwide and helped win the band their first MTV European Music Award for Best InterAct. The former, Zimmer 483, spawned three top five singles in Germany while the latter, Scream, spawned two singles that reached the top twenty in new territories such as Portugal, Spain and Italy. Their first live album, Zimmer 483 - Live In Europe, was released near the end of 2007. On March 25th, their English album Scream was released in Canada while the album was planned for release on April 29th, 2008 in the United States, but due to Bill Kaulitz's vocal problems, had to be postponed to May 6th.

Are hot and absolutely NOTHING like my chemical romance. Bill does NOT look like a girl. And the whole band do not wear make-up, only one of them does as every one with eyes can clearly see.
Even if you don't think they are absolutely irrisistably gorgeous, you can't possibly say their songs aren't good, they are.
And they aren't emo, they don't claim to be emo and no one else claims they are either.
If you hate them so much, why bother coming on here and defining them.
