Tin and Stock 

A meal that is composed of various components found in your kitchen put together when substantial ingredients for a full cooked meal are absent. Such as canned sardines, various fruits, crusts of bread, bottled olives, cured meats, pâtés, vegetable purées, pickles vegetables, cheeses., or any leftovers. The meal is often served on a platter and is normally served for small social gatherings.

Ned didn't have much to offer his guest to eat, so he raided his pantry and offered them up some tin and stock.
