Actor. Originated the role of Benny in "Rent" on Broadway where he met his wife, Idina Menzel, who originated the role of Maureen. His break-out role was starring opposite Angela Bassett in "How Stella Got Her Groove Back." Produced and starred in UPN's short-lived "Kevin Hill."
