Tag ahead

When someone who includes themselves in your group of friends runs ahead and obnoxiously waits to pounce. This is done in order to avoid being left out and being found out as a ‘tag along’ by subverting your expectations

Steve - oh shit. Where’s that stupid tag along gone

Jeremy - there he is waiting at the airport on snapmaps
Darrel - silly tag ahead
