Your partner finds out that you cheated on him/her. However, he/she forgives you. On the next time you meet each other, you try to start your regular conversation, but it doesn't go well, it is too tense, not sincere and in general it's not the same as it used to be before. So it feels like something spoiled.

- He cheated on me, but I forgave him.
- Well, did you meet him after that?
- Yes, I thought everything would be fine, we would talk about it, but it ended with a sour talk. So, I decided to break up with him.

A line of words or a form of conversation that got too old to be used, they make any conversation get cringy.
