Name refers to either one of two large apartment complexes in the suburbs town of Skokie, Illinois. Both buildings are located near Church Street between Keating and Lavergne Avenues. The name might also refer to parts of the town considered to be "ghetto" by wealthier residents. Just like its namesake, the O Block residential apartments in the neighboring city of Chicago, the name "Sko Block" may also be written as Sko'Block or Sko-Block.

church hurt 

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
