A mixture between a scout and a kitty. In essence, a kitty that likes to scout around for things.

Everytime the skitke heads for a drink of water, it becomes distracted by the smell of a new quest.

Slippery. A dodgy person

Common in Scotland.

"He's a skitey wee thing." "Serves you right for being skitey". "I don't wish to sound skitey, but ..." "She is a skitey eyed cow."

In the context of the weather, in place of slippery, you might say "watch out outside, its a bit skitey".
