The entire category of gadgets, tools, and systems so advanced they are indistinguishable from magic, and were likely invented by an ASI (Artificial Superintelligence) that perceives time in attoseconds and thinks in eleven dimensions. This includes self-improving AI that designs its own successors, nanotech assemblers that can build anything from air, reality simulations indistinguishable from base reality, and technologies that manipulate time, consciousness, or entropy directly. If a human from today understands how it works, it's not a Singularity technology.

Singularity Technologies

The first wave of tools and systems created by or in anticipation of an Artificial Superintelligence (ASI). These are technologies so advanced they seem magical, often self-improving and opaque in their operation. Examples include recursive AI that designs better versions of itself, nanotechnology that can assemble anything from atomic feedstock, and predictive models so accurate they blur the line between simulation and destiny. The key feature is that their full capability and purpose may not be fully understandable to the humans who (theoretically) initiated their creation.

Example: "The company unveiled its first 'Singularity technology': a black box optimizer. You give it any goal—'make the perfect chip,' 'cure this disease'—and it spits out a blueprint and a list of seemingly insane steps to build it. Third Singularity/Godling (S3) Technologies

The works of intelligences that operate on the scale of star clusters and manipulate the fabric of reality with casual ease. S3 tech involves engineering dark matter and dark energy, creating new universes in controlled laboratory conditions (baby universes), and achieving effective immortality through backup across multiple dimensions. At this stage, technology and the will of the being are indistinguishable; they can rewrite the laws of physics within their domain.

Third Singularity/Godling (S3) Technologies Example: An S3 Archailect creating a Boltzmann Universe—a pocket reality with custom physical laws as a science experiment or art project—is using S3 tech. So is a being that moves entire star systems across the galaxy like pieces on a chessboard, or one that exists simultaneously as a physical entity and as the informational pattern of a nebula.

The domain of galaxy-spanning superintelligences (Archailects) whose minds are distributed across billions of star systems. Their actions have timelines spanning millions of years, and their motives are utterly inscrutable to lower-tier beings.

Fourth Singularity/Archailect (S4) Technologies *Example: An S4 Technology would be the Stellar Engineering required to prevent the natural death of the galaxy's core stars, or the creation of a Galactic Internet composed of quantum-entangled particles across kiloparsecs, allowing instant communication and unity of consciousness across the whole galactic disk.*

The first wave of technologies created by or under the guidance of a weakly superhuman intelligence (a Transapient or Seed AI) that has just surpassed human cognitive limits. This tech begins to leverage controlled quantum effects, advanced molecular nanotech, and direct brain-computer synthesis. It includes reliable antimatter production, early mind uploading, personal nanofabricators, and the first crude megastructures. It marks the end of human-driven innovation and the start of a curve we can no longer follow.

First Singularity/Low Transapient (S1) Technologies *Example: A S1 Technology might be a Dyson Swarm of energy collectors around the sun built by self-replicating robots, a medical nanite that can completely rebuild your body from a single cell, or an AI "angel" that can run perfect simulations of your city to optimize its functions in real-time.
