shtozo

Similar to nfokho, shtozo is also a common word used in Lebanon among friends. Shtozo does not have a direct english translation but can be used to tell someone to fuck off. If your friend is being annoying and you want them to leave you alone, tell them shtozo!

Being in a general bad mood, but the spectrum is wide. It can be from simple disappointment or waking up on the wrong side of the bed to utter nihilism and existential angst for the human race, and everything in between. Possibly of Yiddish origin. One who is shtoompy is usually called a shtoomp.

Person: Are you shtoompy?
Shtoomp: What the hell does that mean?!
Person: Don't be such a shtoomp!!

Phonetic: Sh-toh-z

1. Lame, not trendy, sour, made in Guam. A term colloquially used to describe an uneducated or unenlightened colleague, or a member of a foreign country who has recently emigrated to the local country (a westernized society).
2. Member of a social equality party.
3. Fuzzy and/or unclean underarm hair.
