Disney Pixar Movie UP: The SQUIRREL!! moment originates from this animated movie where we meet Dug, The Talking Dog, who delivers the hilarious reoccurring SQUIRREL!! gag, while trying to remain focused is distracted instantly.

mum: "Will you pop upstairs and fetch the dirty laundry please"
boy: "yes mum"

boy goes to room for laundry, spots a toy he likes plays with toy, (this is the SQUIRREL!! moment, the point of distraction)
5 minutes later.......

mum calls: "where is this washing???"

boy:"What washing?"

They typically believe they know more than they actually do, and relish in telling others the stories of there heroism, which are almost always exaggerations of the truth.

Did you meet the new guy? He was talking about that box the other day. To hear him tell it, you'd think he drove the engine there, and put the thing out himself. What a squirrel.
