Conservative Party tactic of making up and deliberately spreading false, misleading, frightening and or exaggerated rumors of impending danger or the habit or tactic of purposly arrousing public fear for partisan political purposes.
The Conservative Party is Scheermongering again by calling refugees and asylum seekers illegal, creating fear and toxicity.

The Conservative party claiming carbon tax is a job killer is nothing more than Scheermongering to manipulate votes.

The Scheermongering Conservatives are once again spreading lies about taxes and trying to cover up their decade of incompetence.

The former leader of the Conservative Party of Canada accused a former Senior PMO advisor of wanting to throw people out of windows to their death, but he was actually just Scheermongering.

Stealthie 

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
