Used as a derisive term for an individual who espouses a “country” mentality despite having been born and living in the suburbs and therefore being totally removed from it. These persons will typically drive a large truck without actual need or practical use thereof, and wear camouflage clothing to Wal-Mart to signify their status. Country music, seldom used motorsports gear, and fast food are also trademarks of the lifestyle. They are commonly found in the Southeastern United States but may be found throughout the nation.
See that "country" boy driving that F150 past the mall? He really needs it to drive to work and back. What a raised ranch redneck.
