Internet shorthand for the Red Ring Of Death, the term used to describe hardware failure on the Xbox360, charcterised by three red lights around the power button.

Was gonna finish off my acheivements for GoW last night, but got rrod instead.

RROD

red ring of death; three red blinking lights appear on an xbox 360 and it dies, then you have to send it to microsoft in a "coffin" to get a new one in 2-3 weeks, this only happens when an xbox 360 is surrending to the ps3 or wii (the white flag is on vacation), which is all the time

This is when an xbox 360 seizes to operate, and is indicated by the appearance of a ring of red light around the power button; the reason why xbox 360's suck ass.
