To return emotionally, mentally, or spiritually to a version of yourself that once existed — to drift back into a moment, a memory, or a feeling you thought you’d outgrown.
Etymology:
Formed from retro- (“backward, past”) + the ending of repatriate (“to return to one’s origin”). Coined by “ Ky ”
