A Pushman is defined as being the extra person or persons assisting a pallet
jack operator by pushing the load from behind and card carrying member of the PGA. When operating a pallet
jack tremendous loads are encountered where thousands of pounds may need to move around a warehouse floor. In the event of a load that is too
heavy or unstable for a Tillman (pallet
jack operator) to maneuver alone he will call for a Pushman/Pushmen to assist.
A Pushman does not operate the till of the pallet
jack as that is a completely different union entirely. Pushmen are the highest paid union jobs in the world and it is known that the PGA or Pushman’s Guild of
America controls north and south
American commerce with all other international commerce falling under the purview of the Pushman’s International United or PIU.
Membership in the PGA and PIU is highly regulated and exclusive as both unions are clandestine thus not much is known about admissions. When speaking with the
head of the PGA the Grand Pooba Master Pushman Tier Four with Purple Castor Accent, Marshall Poosh, he simply stated “You are either born a Pushman or you’re not.”
To identify a Pushman one must simply ask for their card. Pushman cards come in two forms, a solid
24 karat
gold union card that resembles a credit card with embedded rubies for years of service or the watch. The watch is solid
gold and of Swiss construction obtained by pushmen upon reaching the level of Master Pushman tier 7.
