Pulling a Monica

Inspired by the television show Friends, "pulling a monica" refers to any and all screwups by an individual.
"Pulling a monica"

Monica: Okay, uh, please don't freak out, um, but, uh, there's a blue fingernail in... in one of the quiche cups. And there's no way to know which one.

Phoebe: And whoever finds it wins the prize.

Monica: You bet that I'd screw up? All that stuff about hiring me because I was good was...

Mrs. Geller: No no no, that was all true. This was just in case you pulled a Monica.

Monica: You promised Dr. Weinberg you'd never use that phrase.

pulling a monica

Monica, the (most of the time) MIA mom of the Gallaghers, whose Bipolar disorder caused her to have a episode induced suicide attempt during thanksgiving dinner in season 2 episode 11. Tiktokers on shameless-tok now refer to wanting to end it by "pulling a monica", which is basically saying you want to off yourself in a gruesome way in front of people for attention. It's a joke. It's funny. It's okay to laugh.
person 1: Happy Thanksgiving!
person 2: ugh yeah, might Pull A Monica so I can get out of here and not have to worry about that awkward talk with my family.
person 1: Haha, yeah, me too. Pulling A Monica is the only option.
