The act of procrastinating through meaningless and/or irrelevant conversation with others, most often in the classroom sense.

Procrastichatting

The act of chatting with friends via text, Facebook chat, or other chatting medium with the purpose of prolonging the beginning of your work.

Shelby should totally be starting that paper right now, but look at her over there procrastichatting with Zach on Facebook.
