Praemiseris

Etymology (why it works)
• prae- (Latin): before, in advance
• miseris (from miseria): sorrow, grief, suffering

Together:

“Before the sorrow.”

Not ending life, not seeking death —
choosing to go first so another never enters grief.

Definition
