Poon Tang" comes to us from the Deep South. In the 19th Century New Orleans (French) was the Las Vegas of the South. The French "Putain" for prostitute was corrupted by the boys from Alabama and Mississippi that visited New Orleans from "putain" to Poon Tang. That is the CORRECT origin of "Poon Tang" and all other speculations on this board are NOT correct

A combination of both the aroma and taste of a womens genitals. Logically this sensation can range from pleasurable to a fate worse than death - depending on bathing habits, diet, rectum bleaching etc. etc.

In Korean "Poon" means "a minute" and "tang" means "whore." The combined expression "Poon Tang" refers to a woman who will sleep with you VERY quickly. Though I'm sure the French word putain has also influenced the meaning in America, I think the fact that the phrase is exactly the same as the Korean it might in fact be traced back to soldiers returning from the Korean war.
