Polypunk

A type of graphical/art style primarily based off of the limitations of the main 5th generation of video game consoles (Nintendo 64 & PlayStation 1), but does not need to completely adhere to the limitations of the original hardware. This sometimes makes it a hybrid between 5th and 6th generation graphics while adhering to overall feel, tone and/or atmosphere that 5th gen (and some 6th gen) games were known for. The style falls in between the time of early 3D graphics (less polygons with blurred textures) and right before the rise of HD graphics (high poly count with with high definition textures).

While not all 5th (nor 6th) gen games had the same exact feel, tone or atmosphere, almost all of them had one thing in common; an eerie or mysterious feeling brought on by the simplistic/limited graphics of the time that leave a lot of imagination up to the player (something that tends to become lost in games that show great amounts of detail). Most 6th generation graphics could possibly be placed under the same definition, but some later 6th gen games look like early 7th gen games. So the earlier the 3D graphics, the more this type of atmosphere is felt.

"Polypunk" was not originally an art style, but much like "Pixel Art", independent video game developers (aka Indie Developers) were responsible for utilizing old 3D styled graphics and establishing it as an art style (often called N64-styled graphics or PS1-like graphics).

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
