An individual in an on-line gaming world (usually a first-person shooter) who's main objective is to gain points via any means instead of aiding his/her team to victory, ala such VSF Gamers like MASH and Finaldream.
Mash spawned at the base and proceeded to drop twenty medical packs at the flag. He then advanced to where there were wounded teammates, and rushed headlong into a hopeless barrage of gunfire to revive them, only to see them killed again immediately before they could recover from his whorish ministrations.

A person whose only objective is to get as many points as he/she can than his/her fellow teammates in any of the zombie games in Call of Duty:Black Ops, with no real strategy to help his/her teammates get through one round alive. When notified of pointwhoring the pointwhorer will disregard your comment by delivering insults about how he/she is better than everyone.
Player 1: "Hey . . What the hell?!"
