Parasocialite 

A mix between the word parasocial and socialite, parasocialites are people who activley partake in a one sided relationship to someone who does not acknowledge their existance and ENJOYS doing it. They truly believe they have a mutual bond, usually with a celebrity or online personality.

Person 1: (Replies to every post by a famous person and acts like they are mutual friends by cracking inside jokes they made up)

Parasocialite 

Noun. Person who engages heavily in parasocial relationships. Person who is incredibly invested in a celebrity and their life, consumed primarily through social media.

She’s really upset that Taylor and Travis split up, I think she might be a parasocialite.

Parasocialitis 

An illness a person suffers after constantly shipping people who are streamers/celebrities and have no connection to said streamer.

Look at Convickt, he has parasocialitis.
