Out of Position

Being removed from reality’s cause-and-effect, so you still exist but no longer interact with reality.

A condition where a person, object, or entity is no longer aligned with reality’s cause-and-effect system, resulting in complete disconnection from reality’s active flow.

When someone is out of position, they are no longer participating in reality—even though reality continues normally without them. From their perspective, the world may appear frozen, softened, or desynchronized because it is no longer updating relative to them.

This is not teleportation, death, or time travel.
It is causal disconnection.

Often associated with removal or interception by higher systems (e.g., multiversal authorities).
“Bro just disappeared mid-fight… he’s out of position.”
“It’s like I’m here, but nothing responds to me. I must be out of position.”
“The system flagged him and pulled him out of position instantly.”
