Nominga is generally used as a slur for people of mixed race, and/or with medium toned skin and dark hair. It came from the dinosaur, the Nomingia, as some people would compare mixed people to the dinosaurs colorful visage, and mixed-specie features. As of 2024, there has been a small rise of people trying to reclaim the slur, and adopt it as their own.
