Nappy Valley

A small town, or small subsection of a town, predominantly filled with young families and their babies, identified by the high number of cloth nappies hanging from the clotheslines.

Often filled with families from a lower economical bracket.

Nappy comes from napkin, or cloth napkin, the article used most frequently to cover the bottoms of babies before commercial disposable nappies/diapers became available.
