A word describing the lack of cover or layers a certain object, organ or organism has. Other words and phrases describing naked include: bare, no clothing, no layers, birthday suit, lack of clothes and lack of layers.

In the Military, "going naked" is a term for partaking in a mission with minimal to no gear. Going naked is common in Espionage Operations, as the soldier would have to procure weapons on-site, by either stealing them or looting them off of bodies.
"You have been equipped with a survival knife and a tranquilizer gun. Use them to hunt for food. You will also have to find your own weapons if you plan to take the enemy head-on in battle. As your codename suggests, you're completely Naked."
