The philosophical theory proposed by M. J. Edington, PhD. that identifies situations in which multiple facets of life all turn to crap at the same time. The feeling that things are turning to crap on multiple fronts simultaneously.

I wrecked the car, got an IRS audit notice, lost my job due to downsizing, and received divorce papers all in the same week. Talk about multifecalism in action!
