Mk is the slang used for saying Okay or "you okay" in a question. So say you asked someone to pick up onions, you would say "Pick up some onions, mk?"
You pronounce and say it the way that the M is not pronounced like the alphabet, but the way it would be pronounced in a word, for example the M at the beginning of Megan. The K is pronounced the alphabet way, however, i.e. not in the way you would say "kite". It also can be used to ask someone to do something, as in "Pick up Tommy, mk?" Instead of "Can you pick up Tommy?"

Jesus where do i start? mk is perfect. she's amazing. gorgeous. forgiving. loving. and the best friend you could ask for. she might be shy and timid when u meet her but when u get close to her she is basically the best thing to have in your life. keep her close and tell her you love her because she may seem bright and bubbly but she also has her fair share of battle scars. she makes u laugh and smile whenever your with her. and i'm so lucky she's my best friend.

If someone texts you ‘mk’ they’re probably too lazy to type the full word,in fact they probably just don’t care, but don’t think that always, they’re probably doing something like watching Netflix
I’m bored

A shortened term for "okay" that your friend uses when they aren't interested in whatever the fuck you are talking about. It gets very annoying at times and makes you want to smack the shit and life out of your friend.
