Material Soul Paradox

Material Soul Paradox is the holy grail of absolute peak-fiction sci-fi theology found within the Maximum Mythological Proximity Project of the Abzuverse. It completely flips the script on how fantasy stories handle the afterlife, spiritual sparks, and the supernatural by enforcing a strict, hard-hitting rule: There is no supernatural. Everything is natural.
In most stories, the soul is just some magical, non-physical glowy mist that breaks the laws of physics. The Material Soul Paradox completely shatters this cliché by establishing that the soul (or spiritual spark) is a 100% naturally occurring feature of the universe. It has physical properties, acts as a genuine reservoir of information, and operates on specific frequencies. However, the "paradox" lies in the fact that while the soul is entirely natural and material, it cannot be reduced to, or measured by, the primitive forms of matter and biology currently understood by baseline humans.
This creates a massive playground for Mythological Natural Science. It means that ghosts, reincarnation, and astral dimensions aren't spooky magic; they are just highly advanced, unmapped branches of natural physics and information theory. Different civilizations develop wild, conflicting theories about it—calling it a shadow, a breath, a spark, or an essence—but they are all just blind men touching different parts of a genuinely existing, biologically complex elephant. It's for the intellectual chads who want their cosmic horror to have a working periodic table.

"Bro, Maria's research on ghosts in this series is blowing my mind. She treats them like thermal energy leftovers."
"Exactly, that’s the Material Soul Paradox putting in the work. In this universe, your soul is completely real and natural, our current science is just too stupid to build a sensor for it yet."

Surf Dracula Syndrome

A phenomenon in film/television series, most notably streaming series, where the main premise is drawn out to such a point that it takes an entire season or more to get the parts of the series the audience is actually interested in seeing.

For example, if a series is titled "Surf Dracula," a majority of viewers would tune in expecting to see Dracula surfing by the first or second episode. However, the entire first season would instead be tedious padding and backstory before finally ending with Dracula surfing in the last five minutes of the season finale.
I watched "Smallville" on Netflix the other day. Dude, it was ten seasons of filler before he finally flew! Major Surf Dracula Syndrome!
