Mars Tucky 

The affectionate name for the Mars Hill neighborhood in Indianapolis. The main drag is Kentucky Ave. and there is a large transplant population from Harlan County, KY. In Indiana, adding the suffix -tucky is a common practice to deride an area, by comparing it to Kentucky, but, in the case of Mars Tucky, it is received as more of an homage.

Martucky 

A city of just over 5000 in North central Illinois. Real name- Marseilles, but half of its residents roots can be traced back to Campbellsville Kentucky. Due to it's own economic downturn since the 1980's, and a lack of enforcement of it's municipal codes it looks more like a hillbilly settlement in rural Kentucky than an industrial city in France like it was named after.

Martucky Shit Show 

A bi-monthly gathering typically in the evening hours when a very, very Simple Majority of Martucky city officials bordering on collusion always vote together and take special pride in their lack of transparency and accountability to the public they serve. Special emphasis on treating constituents with disrespect that often leads name-calling, stonewalling, public ridicule, and cussin'.
