Linguistsplaining

The explanation of something by a linguist, typically to people that do not know about or study linguistics, in a manner regarded as condescending. Usually, the linguist interrupts the conversation to annoyingly point to and explain a linguistic phenomena that just appeared in the conversation, but that everyone intuitively knows about.
- I heard Mary's children got injured in a skateboarding accident!
- Really? I did not know Mary had children!
-What you just did was to negate the presupposition: " Mary's children!"
-Can you stop linguistsplaining to me!
