A variant of the Frutiger Aero aesthetic that merges its signature glossy, futuristic optimism with the eerie, transitional atmosphere of liminal spaces—empty malls, abandoned corridors, forgotten waiting rooms, and the unsettling in‑between places that feel both familiar and wrong. Where classic Frutiger Aero celebrated a clean, bright digital‑utopian future, Liminal Aero haunts that same future with absence: the user interface is still there, but no one is using it; the sky is still blue, but the horizon is empty. It captures the nostalgia for a future that never arrived, the uncanny feeling of being caught between what was promised and what actually came.
