Johnson's Corollary

Johnson's Corollary to Godwin's Law states that as a discussion on the Internet grows longer, the likelihood of a person using a meme in place of a rational argument increases. That means that as more people talk on the Internet for a longer time, it becomes more and more likely that someone will use a meme instead of a rational argument to make their point. Johnson's Corollary further states that the use of a meme signals that the one introducing the meme has lost the argument.

Using a meme to "disprove" global warming is pure Johnson's Corollary.
That guy was making some good points until he brought in the meme making fun of Trump. Johnson's Corollary all the way.
She was winning the argument until she went all Johnson's Corollary with the memes.
