Jewish Christian

A Jewish Christian is a Jew who also believes Jesus is the messiah. Jewish Christians find their faith very hard to explain to most people.
Jewish Cristian: Hi, I'm a Jewish Christian!
Guy: A what?
Jewish Christian: A Jewish Christian! I am Jewish, but I believe Jesus is our messiah!
Guy:... So you're Jewish... and Christian?
Jewish Christian: Yes.
Guy: ... Whoa.

Jewish-Christian Hanukkah

Jewish Christians are basically Jewish people, who eat kosher, and celebrate the feasts of Leviticus 23, as well as Purim (book of Esther), and Hanukkah (books of Maccabees), but also believe that Jesus was indeed the JEWISH Messiah.
Most regular Jews and Christians are unaware that Jesus declared Himself to be the Messiah in JOHN Chapter 10 (22-39) at the Temple on Hanukkah. The books of MACCABEES (found in the CATHOLIC Bible) and JOHN Chapter 10 are read by Jewish Christians during Jewish-Christian Hanukkah.

trucker's tan

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
