Instatracted

Finally succumbing to creating an Instagram account 7 years later, since it's launch in 2010, after much prodding from a soul-sista, and therefore becoming completely and utterly distracted by the plethora of awesome posts, to the detriment of important deadlines and responsibilities (i.e. school, work, offspring, spouse, pets, plants and etcetera).

I am officially Instatracted--and have no regrets (yet)!

InstaTrashed

When a quiet or peaceful area is showcased for its tranquility on social media and is overrun by clout chasers who in turn ruin the area with noise and garbage.

Also synonymous with tourists disrespecting the local environment.

I loved to go camping there before it got InstaTrashed.

This was a quiet area I used to hike on before it got InstaTrashed.

We had to shut down this part of the tour to let the environment heal from tourist activity. It was InstaTrashed to the point our local government stepped in and said no more. We can still admire it from afar, we just can't go in.

Unable to do get anything done because you got preoccupied with Instagram.

I wanted to get the house cleaned, but I got Instastracted.

The state of being merely thought of as an instagram follow statistic.

Jeffrey was taken for instagranted by Ashley so that she can boost her follower to following ratio of 634 to 89, despite Ashley knowing who Jeffrey was since 4th grade.
