inedible

When a food isn't edible. Unpalatable, something that's inedible is something that you cannot eat because it tastes and/or smells revolting.

Me: How's the cafeteria meatloaf?
Friend: I don't think the cafeteria has ever tasted its own food. The meal was inedible.

Inediblam

This is an expression used when one's food or drink is so inexplicably delicious you can't even eat it.

I had to pass on dinner last night because the food was so damn inediblam.
