An irrational fear or aversion to water due to the presence of fish, marine creatures, or other aquatic organisms. This fear may be accompanied by a sense of disgust toward contact with water or a fear of what might be found beneath its surface.

Julia's ichthlimophobia made it impossible for her to swim in the lake, as the thought of fish and underwater creatures terrified her.
