HiTop Effect

When you review a piece of media poorly and as an unintended consequence lead people to come out with the opposite conclusion of what you intended. For example if you do a negative review of a film but lead people to believe the is film good.
Person 1: "Yo I just watched Spider-Man Far From Home."

Person 2: "Have you seen HiTop's video on it."

Person 1: "Yeah, If that's the best criticism of the film out there then it the film must be pretty damn good."
