When someone Breaks up with you. You feel all this pain in your stomach and it hurts for a day or 2. You sit in your room crying your eyes out wondering what you did wrong to deserve this. After you tell someone it spreads around the school and everyone's talking about it. You find someone else a month or 2 later and they ask you out you say yes because you feel like you've moved on. But you didn't and right when you start dating all these memories come back to you and cry in your room and keep on asking yourself what you did wrong to the specific person. You realize that they never loved you, you realize that they never meant a sweet unharmful word they said to you...and then you know they lied and your sadness turns into hatred and anger. You ask them what you did wrong and you start to fight with them over the phone you know that you both hate each other now and will never get back together because they never meant the " I love you so much baby" you realized you committed to the relationship more than he/she did and now you know that you can't get over this person because you loved them with all your heart. You lost a piece of you, you lost your light, and your world...now you are in complete darkness and you wonder why all of your friends can have better relationships than you. You feel like everything is your fault. You feel like you don't belong on this planet anymore. You never speak to them again but you see them in public and all of it coms back.
Heartbroken person-"I thought you loved me I guess everything was a lie!"

Its a deep pain in your chest that makes you choke on your words and tears fall from you eyes. Its when the one you loved, your world revolved around, and could see no one above them; taking your heart in their hands and shattering it with the help of another. If you truly loved someone you would know that time doesn't heal all and your reminded everyday that while they are living their life with another; you are reliving every lie they told you. You knowing your a fool for how much you gave and despite not getting even 25% back still gave it your all... Everyday is a living hell despite how well of a facade you put up for everyone to see. It's knowing that even though people want you and want to date you, you're too scared to even give someone else a chance. Because you still love someone who won't ever love you back and know that you would only give someone false hope that they had a chance.
When you look at someone, smile like its ok, and when they aren't looking hold back the tears because you are heartbroken.

When the person you love more than anything does something to really hurt you, like have sex with your best friend, it's the worst feeling possible, and it hurts more than anything...
... it feels like they've ripped your heart out and jumped on it repeatedly... when you get dumped, cheated on, or whatever reason, it honestly feels like you're about to have a heart attack, you honestly feel heartbroken!

that feeling where you just want to cry sooo much and those tears turns into a river and you hope that it can flow you to some place that can help you forget the pain you are going through. the pain hurts sooo much, the worst pain ever. only time can heal it, it is like the longest treatment ever to help you heal.
When you love the person you cant love. he loves you and you love him but so many people try to tear you two apart. you guys secretly date, but soon realize that the more your with that person you fall more in love with him or her and know that sooner or later you have to depart from that person, because just the thought of not seeing them everyday or to talk to them, or to even feel the warmth of their hug and kiss pains you even more. so you end it thinking that it was the best for the both of you. even if you tell that person we can still be friends you know you both can never see each other that way because you both want something more than that. that's what heartbroken means to me.
