hard case 

01: A tough, practical and unsentimental person.
02: A person who is persistently difficult to control, arrogant, rude or disrespectful.
03: A person who is hard to get along with.
Don't be a hard case to the wrong people.

Nickname given to bales of marijuana thrown overboard or out of airplanes. Origin is reportedly from members of the US Coast Guard in the area of Southern Florida.
