A person who, after getting HD TV, no longer considers himself worthy of watching anything but HD.

Ever since John got his 52" 1080p TV, he's become an HDelitist. He won't go anywhere the non-HD channels.

A name for Democrats who are superior to Republicans.

Decent society is comprised of Delitists. Conversely, Republicans are the reason we can’t have anything nice.
