Before and during his freshman year of high school, Rich was a loser who practically nobody even knew. Like, nobody knew this poor kid existed. Rich was no doubt made fun of and he had a pretty awful life, not to mention that in "The SQUIP Song" he says that he was suicidal. But that all came to a stop when Rich somehow found out about this pill called a "SQUIP" that pretty much makes you cool. (Which he ends up telling the main character, Jeremy Heere(whom he constantly bullys), about it.)
