A term popular in expat circles in Cambodia, derived from "កម្មករ", meaning "worker". It describes an individual who operates with the mindless efficiency of a robot, lacking in logic or reason, particularly in their actions or tasks. Often used to highlight a person's lack of critical thinking or problem-solving skills, especially in situations requiring these abilities.

"Hey Socheat, you see Piseth over there? He's been trying to fix that printer for an hour now, just turning it off and on again. He's being such a gomeka today!"

"Did you hear about Sokha's accident? He was riding his motorbike like a total gomeka, completely oblivious to the traffic around him. He ended up colliding with a tuk-tuk at the intersection!"

Term used by the East Coast Blue State Liberal Elite to describe Middle (or "Red State") America, which they view as consisting solely of Bible-thumping, gun-toting uneducated gaptoothed yokels who all drive their pickup trucks to Wal-Mart.

A village square where people gather for weddings, festivals, religious meetings etc. in the North Caucasus. Pronounced goh-deh-KAHN.

The film showed a group of people waiting in the godekan for the bride to make her appearance.
