Gods Lives Matter
“Gods Lives Matter” is an Abzuverse slogan built around Divine Dignity and the Anti-Godkiller Rule: a deity’s life is not a trophy, a loot drop, or a disposable obstacle in someone else’s power fantasy. In this setting, gods are persons and civilizations, but they can also be conscious frequencies tied to the structures of nature. Killing one is therefore not automatically heroic or consequence-free; it may destabilize the divine ecology and devastate the communities that depend on that cosmic system.
This does not mean every god is good or that mortals must worship them. A deity can be cruel or dangerous and still possess personhood. Accountability, resistance, diplomacy, and repair remain possible; mass slaughter is not justified just because the target is divine. Divine power comes with consequences and responsibilities. The principle asks for accountability without turning an entire species into a target.
It is also a challenge to fantasy stories that turn pantheons into boss lists for protagonists to conquer. In the Abzuverse, heroism is measured by judgment, restraint, and the ability to confront injustice without casually sacrificing whole worlds.
It is not a demand for worship; it is a demand that gods be judged as persons, not automatic targets.
