Someone who feels the need to respond to a story that you told with a similar story of their own, except that their version is more extreme, and potentially false.

When I told Frank about meeting a celebrity over the weekend, he decided to then share his experience about when he saved David Duchovny's life in Aspen last year. That guy is such a Gloryteller

Someone who tells stories of their past usually with a liberal dose of embellishment

Old Harry is such a glorytalker. Yesterday he told me about a night back in the 80's when he drank a bottle of Bourbon, did 10 lines, had sex with 4 women, ate a whole turkey, drove his motorbike into an outlaw bar, got into 6 fights...won them all then rode to the coast to watch the sunrise and smoke a cuban cigar.
